Recently I heard a quote from one of my favorite animation directors, Brad Bird (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles). During a “daily’s” session he told a group of animators, “The best animator is all of us together.” Teamwork is key if you want to reach the goal with the best results possible.
The bottomline is that two heads (or more!) are better than one. When more than one person contributes their ideas and efforts the end result is exponentially better.
Teamwork is a core value at Timbuktoons. We know that our talents and skills will only get better if they are sharpened and challenged by others.
The same is true for the Body of Christ as a whole and for your children’s ministry teams.
In Ephesians 4 we learn that you and I were created to work together. We were built for relationships. We are striving to grow together as a team and build ourselves up in love (Ephesians 4:16).
The lifelong goal we are reaching for is to be more like Christ. One important way that happens is through teamwork.
