Client, Project: Timbuktoons, updated brandmark

Description: Timbuktoons, a pioneer in creative content for children’s ministry since 2003, has since branched out into illustration and animation for commercial and non-profit organizations. They required a logo refresh that referenced their roots, simplified the design and reflected the playful nature of the studio and the work they do.

The Timbuktoons palm is a symbol for their original tagline “an entertainment oasis” as well as the southern location of their studio. The colors and symbol also alludes to the refreshing metaphor of a tree being planted near water. They required a flexible color palette for any number of uses in print, web and screen media.
