Concept Art for CGI

October 22, 2008

Here at Timbuktoons we use a wide variety of visual styles to tell our stories. Our Scripture Shorts product has a “house style” for consistency and branding but I thought I’d put up a few posts of other illustration styles and some concept art for CG/3D animation.

My favorite stage of the animation process is definitely visual development. Ok, we have a script, premise, or written concept…but what do the characters look like? What world do they live in? I love exploring that aspect and putting what’s in my head down on paper…or sculpt…or digital.
